Pushing Daisies in trouble

I have just read this on yahoo about shows in trouble. And one of which included is Pushing Daisies, one of the 2 series I only watch.
The quirky, critically-acclaimed drama "Pushing Daisies," about a pie maker who can revive the dead just can’t seem to catch a break. Its first season was interrupted by the writers’ strike and now its second season’s ratings have been falling weekly (with viewership well below that of last year’s). Sure fans love it and want desperately to save it, but unless all the brouhaha turns into viewers, Ned the pie maker will find himself trying to bring the show back to life.
I hope its viewership gets better so that I have something to watch while I currently do nothing.

Cheap Battery Charger

I will not buy cheap sub-standard china-made electronics anymore. I just bought a battery charger for 195pesos since the other better quality battery chargers are sold at 500pesos-800pesos so I opted for the cheap one. When the clerk tested it, it seems working since all lights are lighted to show that the charger is working. When I got home, I put my rechargeable batteries in the charger and have it charge for four hours. After which I got the batteries and put in our camera and…the batteries are still low and only lasted for 2 pictures taken with flash.

Car Faces

I have a fascination of car faces. You know when you look at a car straight-on and they seem to have faces because of how the headlights and the grill are shaped. Some have happy faces, some have belligerent ones. One car that really caught my attention from my favorite car manufacturer Mazda is the MX-5. See how the face of the current version is different from the 2009 version. The current 2008 version looks stunned while the 2009 version looks elated. Wtf lol

Professional Advise 3

I’m trying to make up another story so here goes.

Ahoho. I’m not really into making up stories for this blog right now so I’ll just create something short.

My friend told me the other day that his/her bestfriend disagrees on a lot of things. (Forgive me; I’ll give a very lame example.) His/her friend likes loud rock music, while he/she like some mellow melodies of the oldies.

My advice for them, leave each other alone if you’re not together at the same time. Don’t go calling your friend up telling your music sucks and mine rocks. That’s a half-bred pit-bull and shit-tzu (bullshit). And if ever you’re together, try compromising. Tell your friend, hey! I know you like loud rock music but can we just make it a little less loud that I think you will still like. Since his/her friend likes loud rock and he/she likes mellow melodies of the oldies. Why not try new wave?

Ahahaha! put@ng!na ang g@g0 ng kwento ko.

My friend called me up again last Saturday and asked for help. My friend told me that he/she always thinks of negative thoughts and asked me if it’s a bad thing. So, being the good person that I am. I went to his/her house and talked to him/her. I told my friend that; yes, thinking negatively can be bad but can be good as well. Heck even thinking positive can be bad. What! Thinking positive can be bad? Well... Thinking positive is actually good but we all know that we can’t achieve all the things we want even though how much positive thinking is put to it. Let’s be realistic. That’s just how life goes. Also, thinking positive and not being able to achieve something can result to more negative thoughts. Back on the topic. Is negative thinking really bad? As I’ve said earlier, yes and no. Yes, because thinking negatively can make you depress and suffer more negative thoughts and sorrows. No, because it can actually help us to determine what we lack and need to improve on. Thinking negatively allows us to plan. Just like in marketing, we determine what problems we face and can face in the future. So, I told my friend. Thinking negatively is not entirely bad it can also be good. We just have to be think intelligently and try to limit our emotions because too much of something can be bad. After which, my friend continued on with his/her life and lived happily and his/her head up high.

WTF Hohoho! Another made-up story. hoho

Casino

I’m not yet 21 years old but I was able play at the Pan Pacific Hotel casino in Manila awhile ago. It’s probably a bad day for us because my mom lost around 6,000pesos and I lost 500pesos. What made it more frustrating for me is that the old lady seating beside me won 100,000pesos. Casino is not fun; unless you’re some rich bastard who has nothing else to spend on. (Although food is free; you can order whatever you want. hoho)
